How to play antique store bingo
- Print one card per player. Choose the number of players above. Every card gets a different mix of squares.
- Set the stakes. 45–60 minutes works well for most shops. Loser buys dessert, or the winner picks the next date.
- Snap it to claim it. Take a photo of each find before you mark the square. No photo, no square.
- Tell the story on starred squares. When you find a personal item, like something your grandparents owned, you owe the group the story behind it.
- Five in a row wins. Across, down, or diagonal. The center square is free once you take a selfie together at the door.
Tips for a better antique store date
- Choose a big multi-dealer mall over a small boutique. More booths means more finds and fewer dead ends.
- Be a good guest. Ask before photographing a dealer's booth if there's a sign, and never move fragile items to get a better shot.
- Buy one small thing. Set a $10 cap and let each player take home one find from their card. It ends up on a shelf as a souvenir of the night.
- Playing as a group? Go couple vs. couple. Share one card per pair and split up to cover more ground.
Questions
Can we play at a flea market or estate sale?
Yes. Most squares work anywhere with vintage stuff. Outdoor flea markets make the "something under $5" square easy.
How many players can play?
Print up to 10 unique cards. For bigger groups, pair people into teams.
